I'm enjoying some free time around the holidays, so I have two rather major projects completed this past week: the wall hanging in the previous post and this colorful necklace. It was a rather special Christmas for our household, our first with my fiancé's daughter, who moved to the U.S. and came to live with us in September. She is a lovely young woman, and quite creative herself, as you can see from this very chic handbag she made me for Christmas.

Thank you for the comments! Carol, the purse material came from a thrifted poncho; it's a very thick woven fabric, feels like cotton.
